Welcome! You may know Dave Cockrum as the fan-favorite artist who helped revive The Legion of Super-Heroes and The X-Men in the 1970s. In his time working for Marvel Comics, at one time or another he touched almost every major character that has appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe 40 years later.

I'm Dave's son, Ivan Cockrum. I put this website together to collect some of my dad's work along with some of my thoughts and recollections of him. Though I still read and love comics, I'm not a comics historian nor a hard-core collector, so some of my remininscences may not be perfectly accurate, though I do try to fact-check myself.
